Competency - 22575VIC Course in Basic Oxygen Administration for First Aid + HLTAID009 (Previously 22298VIC + HLTAID001)
The course is suitable to people of all levels. It is focused on providing participants with training in the recognition of certain illnesses and injuries that may benefit from oxygen first aid, and in techniques for the provision of oxygen to both breathing and non-breathing victims using an appropriate oxygen delivery system. Course Duration: Blended:1 hour of unsupervised pre-course study and 5 hours of face to face training and assessment
Course Location: All scheduled courses are held at
the "Curran Centre" 12 Gordon Street, Coffs Harbour unless otherwise specified
Non-scheduled courses available for groups of 6 or more at our place or yours
Entry Requirements: Participants must have basic English-speaking skills and reading skills unless training materials are provided in the appropriate non-English language. Students must have the physical ability to provide resuscitation by kneeling on the floor and performing two (2) minutes of uninterrupted CPR on an adult and infant mannikin.

Payment Terms: Payment for individual participants is upfront, group booking payment terms are based on agreement between the client and service provider.
Assessment: Progressive assessment of the competencies will be conducted throughout the course. You will participate in both theory and practical sessions, which will be followed by a skills assessment and multiple choice theory test.
Award: After the competent completion of all of the required skills and when registration procedures have been completed, you will receive a Statement of Attainment from Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO# 90909). The program is recognised by State and National government recognition authorities under National Training Recognition Scheme |
