Competency - Provide First Aid (HLTAID003), This unit incorporates the competency of units: Provide Emergency Life Support (HLTAID002) and Perform CPR (HLTAID001)

This course is offered to persons whose First Aid qualification is due to expire or has been expired for up to 1 month. The course will refresh your knowledge and skills in first aid and update you of any changes that have taken place since your last course.

Course content: The course is a revised version of the original course, Apply First Aid

Course Duration: Up to 8 hours

Entry Requirements: Previous First aid certificate must not be expired by more than one month. Copy of certificate to be provided to Instructor Participants must have basic English-speaking skills and reading skills unless training materials are provided in the appropriate non-English language.They must also have the strength and agility to manage CPR and other emergency situations.

Assessment: Progressive assessment of the competencies will be conducted throughout the course with a multiple choice theory test at the end.

Award: After the competent completion of all of the required skills and when registration procedures have been completed, you will receive a Statement of Attainment from either DAN (RTO# 4659) or Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO# 90909). If you have a preference for the RTO please state this when booking. The program is recognised by State and National government recognition authorities under National Training Recognition Scheme
